Abstract:

This data set was acquired with a SeaBeam Instruments 2000 Multibeam Sonar during R/V Melville expedition PHNX02MV conducted in 1992 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Rodey Batiza). These data files are of MBSystem-compatible format and include Swath Bathymetry data that have not been processed. This data was processed by the GMRT Team and was included in the Global Multi-Resolution Topography (GMRT) Synthesis (version 1). Data were acquired as part of the project(s): A Test of Petrologic Temporal Variation on Normal Crust Generated at the EPR 0-1 Ma. Funding was provided by NSF award(s): OCE91-02489.
