Abstract:

This data set was acquired with a ship-based SeaBeam 2000 Multibeam Sonar system during Melville expedition BMRG08MV conducted in 1996 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Sherman Bloomer; Investigator(s): Dr. Dawn Wright). These data files are of MBSystem format and include Swath Bathymetry data that have not been processed. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 1. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Dynamics of Extensional Convergent Margins and the Origin of Supra-Subduction Zone Ophiolites: Hypothesis Testing in the Tonga Forearc, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE95-21023. This data was cited by Wright et al., 2000.
