Title:
Raw (real and envelope) chirp data from the New England Mud Patch in the Mid-Atlantic Bite acquired during the R/V Hugh R. Sharp survey DK1015.
Abstract:
This dataset includes raw (real and envelope) chirp data from near the shelf break south of Cape Code in a region known as the New England Mud Patch. Data were collected as part of a major bottom characterization experiment in 2016 funded by the Ocean Acoustics Program of the Office of Naval Research. To support this experiment, a ~20 km by 20 km reconnaissance survey took place during the summer of 2015. Data were used for stratigraphic analysis of the New England Mud Patch.
