Title:
CHIRP data collected on the Texas inner continental shelf near Freeport, Texas, acquired by the R/V Lone Star in 1996 (LS9607)
Abstract:
Funded by a Rice University consortium of petroleum companies, this 1996 R/V Lone Star survey collected CHIRP data on the Texas inner continental shelf near Freeport, Texas. The objectives were to study the evolution of the sediment supply. Data archiving funded by the U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM). CHIRP navigation was supplied by a line log correlating time to latitude/longitude with navigation interpolated to the shots in between.
