Title:
CHIRP data collected in the Trinity incised valley on the east Texas shelf, acquired by the R/V Lone Star in 1997 (LS9705)
Abstract:
Funded by a Rice University consortium of petroleum companies, this 1997 R/V Lone Star survey collected CHIRP data in the Trinity incised valley on the east Texas shelf. The objectives were to study the evolution of the sediment supply. Data archiving funded by the U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM). CHIRP navigation was supplied by a line log correlating time to latitude/longitude with navigation interpolated to the shots in between.
