Title:
Single channel seismic data on the east Texas continental shelf from Galveston Island to Matagorda Island, acquired by the R/V Lone Star in 1990 (LS9001)
Abstract:
Funded by a Rice University consortium of petroleum companies, this 1990 R/V Lone Star survey used a uniboom seismic source to collect SCS data from Galveston Island to Matagorda Island on the east Texas continental shelf. The objective was to study the effects of global sea-level changes on fluvial-deltaic systems. Data archiving funded by the U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM). Navigation for the shot data was obtained by digitizing fix points from a location map from Abdulah, 1995. Start/stop of the SEG-Y files was assumed to match start/stop of the digitized navigation. Actual start/end dates of survey are unknown.
