Title:
CHIRP data on the Rio Grande shelf off south Texas, acquired by the R/V Lone Star in 1996 (LS9609)
Abstract:
Funded by a Rice University consortium of petroleum companies, this R/V Lone Star survey collected CHIRP data on the Rio Grande shelf off south Texas during September 1996. The objectives were to study the evolution of the sediment supply. The survey also collected single channel seismic data sets on the slope using a 20 ci sleeve gun and on the shelf using a 15 ci watergun.
