Title:
Single channel seismic field data from the east Texas mid-outer shelf and upper slope, acquired by the R/V Lone Star in 1991-1992 (LSOS9192)
Abstract:
Funded by a Rice University consortium of petroleum companies, this project used high-resolution single-channel seismic data collected by the R/V Lone Star during the summers of 1991 and 1992 on the east Texas mid-outer shelf and upper slope. The objectives were to study the evolution of the sediment suppy in the Trinity-Sabine incised valley system during the last glacial-eustatic sea level fall and rise and to study the associated distribution of sandy facies. Data archiving funded by the U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM).
