Title:
Ocean bottom seismometer (OBS) data around Taiwan, deployed by the R/V Ocean Researcher I survey ORI429 for acquisition during R/V Maurice Ewing EW9509 (1995)
Abstract:
The R/V Ocean Researcher Cruise 429 was part of a cooperative project with the National Taiwan Ocean University. In total 39 OBSs were deployed along six seismic lines. The R/V Ocean Researcher I deployed and recovered the 39 OBSs; the seismic source for the six deep refraction lines was provided by the R/V Ewing (EW9509). The purpose was to study the deep seismic structure in and around Taiwan. Funded by NSF grant OCE94-17411.
