Abstract:
These final, processed navigation data files are for SuBastian ROV dives that occurred during the Falkor NE Lau Basin cruise FK171110 in 2017. They were derived using DVL/USBL calculations. The navigation data quality deteriorated as the expedition progressed due to transducer failure (see cruise report). The files are in shapefile format and were generated as part of a project called Temporal/spatial scales of mantle wedge composition and processes investigated with young boninites and basalts from the unusually active NE Lau Basin. Funding was from NSF grant OCE15-38121.
