ETOMO: Elevation data used in generation of the Kim et al. 3-D seismic velocity model of the upper crust beneath the Endeavour segment of the Juan de Fuca Ridge
Abstract:
This elevation data was used as the elevation surface for the corresponding 3-D seismic velocity model described in Kim et al., 2019. The data file is in ASCII format and contains the following 5 columns: x-local-coordinate (km), y-local-coordinate (km), longitude, latitude, and elevation (m). Elevation is the depth below sea level. The local coordinate is centered on 47.9826N and -129.0776W and rotated -21N. The data set was generated as part of the projects called ETOMO: Endeavour Seismic Tomography Experiment and, Testing Models of Magmatic and Hydrothermal Segmentation: A 3-D Seismic Tomography Experiment at the Endeavour Ridge. Funding was provided by NSF Ridge 2000 program grants OCE04-54747 and OCE04-54700.
