Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a Kongsberg Maritime EM302 Multibeam Sonar during R/V Falkor expedition FK160407 conducted in 2016 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Charles Fisher, Investigator: Dr. Vicki Ferrini). These data files are of MBSystem-compatible format and include Acoustic Backscatter and Swath Bathymetry data that were processed after acquisition. Data were acquired as part of the project: Collaborative Research: Ecosystem dynamics of Western Pacific hydrothermal vent communities associated with polymetallic sulfide deposits. Ship time was provided by Schmidt Ocean Institute and additional funding was provided by NSF Award(s): OCE15-36331, OCE15-36650, OCE15-36653, OCE15-37807.
