Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a Kongsberg Maritime EM122 Multibeam Sonar during R/V Marcus G. Langseth expedition MGL1110 conducted in 2011 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Donna Shillington, Investigators: Dr. Donna Shillington, Dr. Anne Becel, Dr. Mladen Nedimovic, Dr. Spahr Webb, Jiyao Li, Harold Kuehn, Dr. Matthias Delescluse, Dr. John Diebold). These data files are of MBSystem-compatible format and include Acoustic Backscatter and Swath Bathymetry data that were processed with light automatic cleaning for spikes and extreme slopes after acquisition. Data were acquired as part of the project: Megathrust seismic hazards by reflection mapping. Funding was provided by NSF award: OCE09-26614.
