Abstract:

This data set was acquired with the LDEO Multi-Channel Seismic system during R/V Maurice Ewing expedition EW0501 conducted in 2005 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Sean Gulick; Investigators: Dr. Sean Gulick, Dr. Gail Christeson, Dr. Penny Barton, and Dr. Henry Melosh). These data files are of SEGY format and include Multi-Channel Seismic Reflection shot data that have not been processed. Data were acquired as part of the projects: Imaging and Modeling Impact Generated Deformation at the Chicxulub Crater, Joint US/UK/Mexico Investigation and IODP Site Survey and 3D Tomographic Imaging of the Chicxulub Crater, and funding was provided by NSF grants: OCE02-20474, and OCE02-21101. This data was cited by Vermeesch and Morgan, 2008, Collins et al., 2008, Gulick et al., 2008, McDonald, 2006, Morgan et al., 2005, Vermeesch et al., 2009, Christeson et al., 2009, Morgan et al., 2011, and Gulick et al., 2013.
