Title:
Processed Sidescan Sonar Images from the Mid-Atlantic Ridge Spreading Center acquired during the Charles Darwin expedition CD100 (1996)
Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a Sidescan Sonar on the TOBI (Towed Ocean Bottom Instrument) during Charles Darwin expedition CD100 conducted in 1996 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Joseph Cann; Investigator(s): Dr. Joseph Cann and Dr. Donna Blackman). These data files are of JPEG Image format and include Sidescan images and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Deformation and serpentine intrusion in the NOBSKA spreading segment, Mid-Atlantic Ridge, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): GST/02/1148.
