Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a hull-mounted Kongsberg EM302 Multibeam Sonar system during Falkor expedition FK007 conducted in 2013 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Charles Paull; Investigator(s): Dr. Charles Paull, Dr. David Caress, and Roberto Gwiazda). These data files are of NetCDF:GMT format and include gridded Acoustic Backscatter data that were processed after data collection. This dataset contains two types of acoustic backscatter grids - files ending in aga.grd correspond to Beam Amplitude vs. Grazing Angle acoustic backscatter grids on a per file basis; Files ending in AmpC.grd correspond to acoustic backscatter grids compiled on a per day basis.
