Title:
Processed Acoustic Backscatter Data from the US Atlantic Margin acquired during the Ronald H. Brown expedition RB1202 (2012)
Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Kongsberg EM122 Multibeam Sonar system during Ronald H. Brown expedition RB1202 conducted in 2012 (Chief Scientists Andrew Armstrong and James Gardner). The data files are in NetCDF Grid format and include gridded Acoustic Backscatter data that was processed after data collection. The data set acquired as part of the project UNH UNCLOS Law of the Sea Mapping - Distal extent of Cape Fear Slide and depositional lobe of Hatteras Transverse Canyon, and funding was provided by NOAA grant NA05NOS4001153. The data set is cited by Gardner et al., 2015.
