Title:
Underway Hydrographic, Weather and Ship-state Data (JGOFS) from Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0207 (2002)
Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Meteorological Sensor, Fluorometer, Echosounder Sonar, Navigation system, and Thermosalinograph during Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0207 conducted in 2002 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Wayne Trivelpiece). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Navigation, Conductivity, Temperature, Meteorological, Infrared Radiation, Fluorescence, Bathymetry, Salinity, and Visible Radiation data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Foraging Behavior and Demography of Pygoscelis Penguins (COPA Field Camp), and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT01-25985.
