Title:
Underway Hydrographic, Weather and Ship-state Data (JGOFS) from Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0108A (2001)
Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Navigation system, Fluorometer, Meteorological Sensor, Thermosalinograph, and Echosounder Sonar during Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0108A conducted in 2001 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Wayne Trivelpiece). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Meteorological, Temperature, Infrared Radiation, Bathymetry, Navigation, Visible Radiation, Fluorescence, Salinity, and Conductivity data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Penguin-Krill-Ice Interactions: The Impact of Environmental Variability on Penguin Demography and Copacabana Field Camp Opening, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT98-16616.
