Title:
Underway Hydrographic, Weather and Ship-state Data (JGOFS) from Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0104 (2001)
Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Meteorological Sensor, Navigation system, Echosounder Sonar, Thermosalinograph, and Fluorometer during Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0104 conducted in 2001 (Chief Scientist: Dr. William Fraser). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Visible Radiation, Conductivity, Temperature, Infrared Radiation, Meteorological, Navigation, Salinity, Bathymetry, and Fluorescence data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): SO GLOBEC:Seabird Ecology Using Obervations and Diet Samples, SO GLOBEC:Water-Column Phytoplankton Primary Productivity, SO GLOBEC:Krill Age and Dietary History, and SO GLOBEC:Krill Distribution, Physiology, and Predations; Copepod Prey Abundance, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT99-10043 and ANT99-10100.
