Title:
Underway Hydrographic, Weather and Ship-state Data (JGOFS) from Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0010 (2000)
Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Thermosalinograph, Navigation system, Fluorometer, Meteorological Sensor, and Echosounder Sonar during Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0010 conducted in 2000 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Ken L. Smith). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Salinity, Fluorescence, Temperature, Bathymetry, Infrared Radiation, Visible Radiation, Meteorological, Navigation, and Conductivity data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Influence of Seasonal Ice Cover on Pelagic and Benthic Communities: Long Time Series Study, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT97-27077.
