Title:
Underway Hydrographic, Weather and Ship-state Data (JGOFS) from Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0304A (2003)
Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based ODEC Bathy2000 Echosounder Sonar, Meteorological Sensor, Turner Designs 10-AU-005 Fluorometer, Fluorometer, Navigation system, Thermosalinograph, and Echosounder Sonar during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0304A conducted in 2003 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Jim Swift). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Temperature, Navigation, Bathymetry, Salinity, Meteorological, Visible Radiation, Fluorescence, Conductivity, and Infrared Radiation data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Western Arctic Shelf-Basin Interaction, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OPP01-25399.
