Title:
Underway Hydrographic, Weather and Ship-state Data (JGOFS) from Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0304 (2003)
Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Turner Designs 10-AU-005 Fluorometer, Thermosalinograph, ODEC Bathy2000 Echosounder Sonar, Meteorological Sensor, Echosounder Sonar, Navigation system, and Fluorometer during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0304 conducted in 2003 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Steve Cande). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Infrared Radiation, Fluorescence, Visible Radiation, Conductivity, Navigation, Salinity, Bathymetry, Meteorological, and Temperature data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired while the Nathaniel B. Palmer was in transit, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OPP98-15283.
