Title:
Underway Hydrographic, Weather and Ship-state Data (JGOFS) from Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0207 (2002)
Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Echosounder Sonar, Fluorometer, Meteorological Sensor, Thermosalinograph, and Navigation system during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0207 conducted in 2002 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Steve Cande). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Temperature, Infrared Radiation, Conductivity, Fluorescence, Navigation, Bathymetry, Meteorological, Visible Radiation, and Salinity data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Late Cretaceous and Cenozoic Reconstructions of the Southwest Pacific, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OPP98-15283.
