Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based BellAerospace BGM-3 Gravimeter, Atlas Hydrosweep DS Multibeam Sonar system, and Geometrics G-886 Magnetometer during Maurice Ewing expedition EW0005 conducted in 2000 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Kirk McIntosh). These data files are of MGD77 format and include Gravity Field, Magnetic Field, and Singlebeam Bathymetry data and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Structure of the Nicaragua/Costa Rica Subduction Zone: A Framework for the Subduction Factory and Seismogenic Zone Initiatives, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE99-05355 and OCE99-09859.
