Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Kongsberg EM120 Multibeam Sonar system during Sonne expedition SO180 conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Udo Barckhausen; Investigator(s): Dr. Udo Barckhausen and Dr. Wilhelm Weinrebe). These data files are of NetCDF Grid format and include gridded Swath Bathymetry data and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Tests of a new towed marine vector magnetometer and CENTRAL (Plate kinematics in the central Pacific in the Late Oligocene - Early Miocene). This data was cited by Engels et al., 2007, Meschede et al., 2008, and Barckhausen et al., 2008.
