Processed Near-bottom Sidescan Sonar Images (GEOTIFF format) from near Howland Island acquired during the Seward Johnson expedition SJ0902 (2009)
Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a EdgeTech Sidescan Sonar a REMUS 6000 AUV during Seward Johnson expedition SJ0902 conducted in 2009 (Chief Scientist: Theodore Waitt; Investigator(s): Theodore Waitt, Dr. Dominique Rissolo, and Michael Dessner). These data files are of GeoTIFF (Raster) format and include gridded Sidescan data that were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Waitt Institute for Discovery: Search for Amelia, Search for Amelia, and Sensory Biology, Ecology and Biogeography of mesopelagic fishes and cephalopods.
