Title:
Towed CHIRP Subbottom Seismic Shot Data from the Papua New Guinea MARGINS Focus Site acquired during the Melville expedition VANC23MV (2004)
Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a towed EdgeTech CHIRP Subbottom Seismic system during Melville expedition VANC23MV conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Neal Driscoll; Investigator(s): Dr. Neal Driscoll and Dr. John Milliman). These data files are of SEGY format and include Subbottom shot data that have not been processed. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Developing a Quantitative Understanding of Clinoform Formation, Gulf of Papua and Clinoform Sequence Stratigraphy in a Modern Foreland Basin, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE03-05607, OCE03-05699, and OCE03-05779.
