Title:
Underway Hydrographic, Weather and Ship-state Data (JGOFS) from Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0412 (2004)
Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Knudsen 320BR Echosounder Sonar, Navigation system, Meteorological Sensor, Thermosalinograph, and Fluorometer during Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0412 conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Wayne Trivelpiece). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Salinity, Visible Radiation, Meteorological, Navigation, Fluorescence, Temperature, Conductivity, Bathymetry, and Infrared Radiation data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Foraging Behavior and Demography of Pygoscelis Penguins and Copacabana Field Camp Opening, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT03-44275.
