Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Atlas Hydrosweep DS Multibeam Sonar system during Maurice Ewing expedition EW9708 conducted in 1997 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Douglas Toomey). These data files are of MBSystem Compatible format and include Acoustic Backscatter and Swath Bathymetry data that have not been processed. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Constraining Mantle Flow, Melt Supply, and Lower Crustal Structure Between the Clipperton and Siqueiros Fracture Zones from a Seismic Undershoot Experiment, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE01-17715, OCE01-18383, OCE01-18450, OCE01-18597, OCE02-24903, OCE96-33264, OCE96-33814, and OCE96-34132.
