Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Atlas Hydrosweep DS Multibeam Sonar system during Maurice Ewing expedition EW9601 conducted in 1996 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Thomas Henyey; Investigator(s): Dr. W. Steven Holbrook). These data files are of MBSystem Compatible format and include Acoustic Backscatter and Swath Bathymetry data that have not been processed. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Geophysical Investigation of a Modern Continent-Continent Collisional Orogen: The Southern Alps, New Zealand, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): EAR92-19496 and EAR94-18530.
