Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a Imagenex 881 Scanning Sonar on the HOV Alvin during Atlantis expedition AT11-13 conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Deborah Kelley; Investigator(s): Dr. Deborah Kelley and Dr. Vicki Ferrini). These data files are of ASCII:ESRI format and include gridded Bathymetry data and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Determining the Limits to Life in Submarine Hydrothermal Systems, Next Generation Flux Meters For Enhanced Geochemical And High-Resolution Real-Time Benthic Flux Monitoring, and Towards Quantifying Elemental Fluxes and Fluid Origins from Margins Using Novel Submarine Instrumentation, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE02-21900, OCE02-41998, OCE02-42034, OCE02-42089, OCE02-42091, OCE04-25645, and OCE04-26109.
