Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Multibeam Sonar system during Kaiyo expedition KY03-06 conducted in 2003 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Hajime Shiobara; Investigator(s): Dr. Douglas Wiens). These data files are of NetCDF Grid format and include gridded Swath Bathymetry data and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): US-Japan Collaborative Research: Multi-Scale Seismic Imaging of the Mariana Subduction Factory (MARIANA), and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE00-01938 and OCE00-02878.
