Abstract:
This data set was acquired with an Imagenex 881 Scanning Sonar on the HOV Alvin during Atlantis expedition AT11-10 conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Richard Lutz; Investigator(s): Dr. Richard Lutz and Dr. Vicki Ferrini). These data files are of Text (ASCII) format and include Bathymetry data that were merged with navigation and processed after data acquisition. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Integrated Studies of Biological Community Structure at Deep-Sea Hydrothermal Vents (PIRATES-II), Seismic Monitoring of the 9N East Pacific Rise, and Student Experiments at Sea (SEAS), and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE03-26434, OCE03-27261, OCE03-27283, and OCE03-27353.
