Title:
Processed towed MAPR Data from the Juan de Fuca Spreading Center - Endeavour Segment acquired during Thomas G. Thompson expedition TN177B (2005)
Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a towed NOAA-PMEL MAPR attached to the TowCam sled during Thomas G. Thompson expedition TN177B conducted in 2005 (Chief Scientist: Dr. James Cowen). The data file is in Microsoft Excel format and includes Optical Backscatter, Temperature, and Pressure data that was processed after collection. The data was acquired as part of the projects: Time-Series Responses to a Mid-Ocean Ridge Volcanic Event, and, PMEL Deep Ocean Seismicity from Hydroacoustic Monitoring. Funding was provided by NSF grant OCE02-22069.
