TN188 Bathymetry
Phase Bathymetry data (8 m resolution) from the Galapagos Spreading Center (2005)
This data set was acquired with a towed WHOI DSL-120A Sidescan Sonar on DSL-120A during Thomas G. Thompson expedition TN188 conducted in 2005 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Rachel Haymon; Investigator: Dr. Scott White). These data files are in NetCDF Grid format and include gridded Phase Bathymetry data and were processed after data collection. The data set was acquired as part of the project called GalAPAGoS: Where Ridge Meets Hotspot, and funding was provided by NSF grants OCE03-24668 and OCE03-26148. This data was cited by Haymon et al., 2008 and White et al., 2008.
