NBP0306 Bathymetry
USAP:Funded
Processed Swath Bathymetry Grids (NetCDF:GMT format) derived from ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data acquired in the Ross Sea during the Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0306 (2004)
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Kongsberg EM120 Multibeam Sonar system during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0306 conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Bruce Luyendyk; Investigator(s): Dr. Bruce Luyendyk and Dr. Lou Bartek). These data files are of NetCDF Grid format and include gridded Swath Bathymetry data and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Collaborative Research: Antarctic Cretaceous-Cenozoic Climate, Glaciation, and Tectonics: Site surveys for drilling from the edge of the Ross Ice Shelf, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OPP00-87392 and OPP00-88143.
