Processed multichannel seismic data in the Gulf of Corinth, acquired during the R/V Maurice Ewing survey EW0108 (2001)
This study's primary analyses were to focus on determining the mode of deformation in the Gulf of Corinth rift and how the deformation varies along strike. The project was undertaken in cooperation with Greek and French scientists. The purpose was to image active rifting in the Gulf of Corinth, the regional crustal structure, and to provide a site survey for future IODP drilling. Funded by NSF grant OCE00-99277.
