Raw Acoustic Backscatter and Swath Bathymetry Data from the James Ross Basin acquired during R/V Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP1602 (2016)
This data set was acquired with a Kongsberg Maritime EM122 Multibeam Sonar during R/V Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP1602 conducted in 2016 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Matthew Lamanna, Investigators: Dr. Matthew Lamanna, Dr. Joseph Kirschvink). These data files are of MBSystem-compatible format and include Acoustic Backscatter and Swath Bathymetry data that have not been processed. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Collaborative Research: Late Cretaceous-Paleogene Vertebrates from Antarctica: Implications for Paleobiogeography, Paleoenvironment, and Extinction in Polar Gondwana. Funding was provided by NSF award(s): ANT11-42052.
