Marine Geoscience Data System
TN182 Bathymetry
Processed Bathymetry Grids (NetCDF:GMT format) for the Aleutian back arc derived from ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data acquired during Thomas G. Thompson expedition TN182 (2005)
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Kongsberg EM300 Multibeam Sonar system during Thomas G. Thompson expedition TN182 conducted in 2005 (Chief Scientists: Gene Yogodzinski and Scott White). The data files are in NetCDF Grid format, include Bathymetry data gridded at 50m horizontal resolution, and were processed after data collection. They were acquired as part of the project called Primitive Magmatism and Crustal Genesis in an Island Arc, and funding was provided by NSF grants OCE02-42585, and OCE05-33226.
