2016

November 2016

Field data and metadata from the R/V Langseth's multichannel and OBS Seismic Transect of the South Atlantic Ocean, were added to the archive. MGL1601 (Reece, Christenson, 01/04/2016-02/25/2016) used the Sercel Seal 480 acquisition system with 1008 channels and a 12.6km streamer.

October 2016

Processed seismic lines from USGS survey AG1208 of Yakutat Bay, Alaska, using the R/V Alaskan Gyre, are now ready for viewing in the GeoMapApp Digital Seismic Portal.

September 2016

Seismic field data and metadata from R/V New Horizon NH1323 (Driscoll, 10/10/2013-11/04/2013) used the Scripps portable acquisition system for surveys that were part of the SONGS project 3D shallow seismic survey offshore southern California. 14 8-channel streamers were used with boomer or sparker sources to collect 334 lines.

June 2016

Field data read from the original field tapes from the Blake Ridge 3D project on EW0008 (Holbrook, 09/02/2000-10/17/2000) has been used to update the data and metadata available online. A 6000m streamer with up to 480 channels was used; 324 channels were recorded for the 3D lines.

April 2016

Seismic field data and metadata from two expeditions were added to the field data archive this month. R/V New Horizon NH1320 (Kent, 08/16/2013-09/01/2013) used the Scripps portable acquisition system for surveys as part of the SONGS project offshore southern California. A boomer source with a 24-channel 75m streamer was used for nearshore lines; a sparker source with a 48-channel 300m streamer was used for lines in somewhat deeper water. Also, archiving of the 240-channel Nankai 3D data set was completed with full-resolution (2 ms) data from the original field tapes from EW9908 (Bangs, 07/21/1999-08/17/1999). Available processed seismic lines from MGL0905, south of Taiwan, are now ready for viewing in GeoMapApp.

March 2016

Field data and metadata from the R/V Falkor's multichannel seismic surveys in the Wharton Basin and Mentawai Gap, offshore Sumatra, were added to the archive. FK150523 (Singh, 05/23/2015-06/22/2015) used a portable seismic acquisition system with 96 channels and a 1200m streamer. In addition, full-resolution (2 ms) data from the original field tapes were added to the field data archive for the first leg of the 240-channel Nankai 3D project, EW9907 (Bangs, 06/18/1999-07/19/1999).

February 2016

Multichannel seismic field data and metadata from the R/V Langseth's recent Mediterranean Sea survey of the Hellenic Subduction Zone were added to the field data archive in February. MGL1521 (Hooft, 11/18/2015-12/16/2015) used an 8100m streamer with 636 channels.

January 2016

Multichannel seismic field data and metadata from the R/V Melville's SONGS survey, offshore southern California, were added to the field data archive. MV1316 (Driscoll, Kent, 12/05/2013-12/16/2013) used the Scripps portable seismic acquisition system with 48 channels and a 300m streamer.

For the EW0501 Chicxulub Crater survey (Gulick, Barton, 01/07/2005-02/13/2005), full-resolution (2 ms) data from the original field tapes were added to the field data archive.

November 2015

Multichannel seismic field data and metadata from the R/V Revelle's recent Hikurangi Subduction Zone survey were added to the field data archive this month. RR1508 (Harris, Trehu, Henrys, 05/19/2015-06/17/2015) used the Scripps portable system with 48 channels.

Processed seismic lines from the Bering Sea MGL1111 are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

October 2015

Seismic field data and metadata from two expeditions were added to the field data archive this month. The Revelle RR1313 Pacific Warm Pool drilling survey (Rosenthal, Mountain, 09/08/2013-10/03/2013), used a 600m streamer with 48 channels. Seismic data was collected from the Lesser Antilles Subduction Zone on EW9803 (Bangs, Nakamura, 3/15/1998-4/08/1998) using a 180-channel, 4100m streamer.

Multichannel seismic field data and metadata from the R/V Langseth's recent USGS Eastern North American Margin Law of the Sea survey were added to the field data archive this month. MGL1506 (Hutchinson, Wood, Miller, 04/10/2015-05/02/2015) used a 6000-8000m streamer with 480-636 channels.

Processed seismic lines from the equatorial Pacific Ocean, Line Islands ridge, MGL1208, are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

Processed seismic lines from the Philippine Sea, EW9509, are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

Single-channel seismic field data and metadata from the Amazon Fan were added to the field data archive from RC2514 (Flood, 11/27/1984-12/22/1984). 2 channels of data were collected.

June 2015

Seismic field data and metadata from four expeditions were added to the publicly-available field data archive this month. The EW0210 Gulf of California survey (Lizarralde, 09/16/2002-10/30/2002), used a 6000m streamer with 480 channels. Single-channel data was collected from offshore Costa Rica on EW9502 (McIntosh, Shipley, 3/27/1995-4/27/1995), from the southeastern Indian Ocean and southern Tasman Sea region on EW9513 (Cande, 12/28/1995-2/2/1996), and from the Puerto Rico Trench and island slope on EW9605 (Appelgate, 6/15/1996-7/7/1996). All used a 4-channel, 100-150m streamer.

May 2015

Multichannel seismic field data and metadata from the Iberia Abyssal Plain and Galicia Bank were added to the field data archive this month. The EW9705 (Sawyer, 07/10/1997-08/15/1997) survey used a 4000-4100m streamer with 168-172 channels.

April 2015

Wide-angle segy data from sonobuoys has been added to the field data archive for EW9413, a transect of the Gorda Rise, offshore Oregon.

March 2015

Wide-angle segy data from sonobuoys has been added to the field data archive for Eastern US continental shelf MGL1407, Woodlark Basin EW9203, Ceara Rise, Amazon Cone EW9209, and Aleutian Trench to shelf EW9409. Processed seismic lines from the Community Seismic Experiment on the evolution of the Mid-Atlantic US margin MGL1408, southeast Alaska project ACCRETE EW9412, Solomon Islands MCS-OBS EW9511, Hydrate Ridge, offshore Oregon EW0208, and Sandino forearc basin, offshore Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras and El Salvador EW0412, are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

Multichannel seismic field data and metadata from the R/V Langseth's recent USGS United Nations Law of the Sea program were added to the field data archive this month. The MGL1407 Eastern North American Margin survey (Hutchinson, Miller, 08/16/2014-09/13/2014), used a 6000-8000m streamer with 468-636 channels.

Multichannel seismic field data and metadata from the R/V Langseth's recent Open Access expedition were added to the field data archive this month. The MGL1408 Eastern North American Margin survey, mid-Atlantic region (Shillington, Becel, 09/15/2014-10/22/2014), used a 6000-8000m streamer with 480-636 channels.

November 2014

Multichannel seismic field data and metadata from EW9207, a 3D seismic study of the Northern Barbados Ridge (Shipley, Moore, 06/06/1992-07/06/1992), were archived. A 650m streamer with 52 channels and the DMS2000 acquisition system were used.

October 2014

Multichannel seismic field data and metadata from two expeditions were added to the field data archive this month. The MGL1405 New Jersey Margin survey (Mountain, Nedimovic, 07/1/2014-07/23/2014), was cancelled due to equipment malfunctions. However, some preliminary lines, using two 3000m streamers with 236 channels each, were archived. On the southern California margin, EW9415 (Brocher, 10/13/1994-10/21/1994, 4000m streamer with 160 channels, DMS2000 acquisition system) collected data offshore Los Angeles during an onshore-offshore program (LARSE).

Direct access to processed seismic data files from the Digital Seismic Portals in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean has been provided for over 70 expeditions.

August 2014

Processed seismic lines from the North Atlantic Transect, FM1002, a wide-aperture, 2-ship experiment from the Blake-Bahama Plateau to the Mid-Atlantic Ridge near 23 degrees North, are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

Thirty-two additional seismic lines, field data and associated metadata, collected near the Antarctic Peninsula, were recently added to the field data archive. The R/V Ewing survey EW9101 (Austin, Shipley, Mutter, 02/01/1991-03/16/1991) used a 3000m streamer with 120 channels and DSS240 acquisition system for work in the Bransfield Strait.

June 2014

Multichannel seismic field data and metadata from two expeditions in the North Atlantic Ocean were recently added to the field data archive. The EW0007 survey (Tucholke, Holbrook, 07/14/2000-08/17/2000) used a 6000m streamer with 480 channels and Syntrak 480 acquisition system for drilling site survey work on the Newfoundland margin. EW0106 (Lizarralde, Gaherty, 05/31/2001-06/20/2001, 6000m streamer with 480 channels, Syntrak 480 acquisition system) collected a single MCS line during an OBS study of oceanic mantle lithosphere in the western Atlantic Ocean south of Bermuda.

Processed seismic lines from the Gulf of Mexico, SS8802, and from a 3D survey of the Nankai Trough, EW9907, are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

April 2014

Multichannel seismic field data and metadata from three expeditions in the Pacific Ocean and one in the North Atlantic were recently added to the field data archive. The IPOD Line from Cape Hatteras to the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, GS1974 (Grow, Markl, 10/17/74-11/07/74, 3400m streamer with 48 channels, DSSIII acquisition system) achieved the goal of following a flowline from rift to continent. EW9407 (Meltzer, Clarke, Diebold, 06/11/94-06/25/94, 4000m streamer with 160 channels, DMS2000 acquisition system) was part of the Mendocino Triple Junction seismic experiment. EW0001 (Fulthorpe, Austin, 01/09/00-01/28/00, 1200m streamer with 96 channels, Syntrak 480 acquisition system) investigated deposition in the Canterbury Basin, offshore New Zealand. EW0005 (McIntosh, Silver, 05/23/00-06/27/00, 6000m streamer with 240 channels, Syntrak 480 acquisition system) studied the Nicaragua convergent margin.

March 2014

Processed seismic lines from the Canterbury Basin, offshore New Zealand, EW0001, and from Elan Bank, Kerguelen Plateau, RS179, are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

February 2014

Processed seismic lines from the USA-Japan Geophysical Investigation of the Ontong Java Plateau and Nauru Basin, KH98012, are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

2013

December 2013

Multichannel seismic field data and metadata from two Mediterranean Sea surveys by RC2911 (Watts, Mutter, 11/02/88-11/29/88, 96 channels, DSS240 acquisition system) were added to the field data archive. The Gulf of Valencia survey includes field data from 2-ship work with the R/V Jean Charcot. The Alboran Sea survey was a single-ship project.

November 2013

Multichannel seismic field data and metadata from Cascadia area EW9905 Gorda Escarpment survey (Trehu, 05/05/99-05/19/99, 480 channels, DMS2000 acquisition system) and KN179-01 J anomaly and SE Newfoundland sediment drifts study (Norris, 07/16/04-08/15/04, 48 channels, LDEO Portable Hi-Res system) were added to the field data archive. In addition, digital single-channel data from the Pacific-Antarctic Ridge, EW9201 (Cande, Haxby, 01/15/92-02/28/92) have been archived.

October 2013

Field data and metadata from MGL1307 (Sawyer, 06/15/13-08/03/13) were added to the field data archive. This expedition was a 3D seismic study of the Galicia S Detachment in the North Atlantic. The Syntrak 960 acquisition system and 4 6km streamers were used to collect 1872-channel data.

September 2013

Processed seismic lines from the 2-ship North Atlantic Transect (NAT) project, in the western Atlantic ocean, FM1001, are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

August 2013

Recently, field data and metadata from MGL1305 (Canales, 04/11/13-05/19/13) were added to the field data archive. This expedition investigated the Mid-Atlantic Ridge Rainbow Hydrothermic Field (Project MARINER). The Syntrak 960 acquisition system and an 8km streamer were used to collect 636-channel data.

July 2013

Processed seismic lines from the Ceara Rise in the Equatorial Atlantic, EW9209, are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

June 2013

During this calendar year, processed seismic lines collected on GT8909, Cascadia margin; EW9905, Gorda escarpment; EW9009, New Jersey shelf; and EW9209, a study of the Ceara Rise in the equatorial Atlantic, were provided to the Academic Seismic Portal at UTIG.

May 2013

Processed seismic lines from Endeavor EN465 (2009) a study of the shelf offshore Martha's Vineyard, and KN179-01 south of Newfoundland, the site survey for IODP 342, are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

April 2013

Metadata and 4-channel field data were added to the field data archive for EW9209 (Curry, Mountain, 08/23/92-09/25/92). This cruise included a survey of the Ceara Rise, offshore Brazil.

Processed seismic lines from MGL0814 (Gulick, 2008), the St. Elias Erosion/tectonics Project (STEEP) off Alaska; EW9905 (Trehu), a survey of the Gorda Escarpment and TN037 (Sager, 1994), a study of the Shatsky rise, are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

Processed seismic lines from GT8909 (Moore, Trehu, 1989) Cascadia ODP Leg 146 Site Survey are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

February 2013

Metadata and 144-channel field data were added to the field data archive for GT8909 (Moore, Trehu, 09/18/89-10/06/89). Data was collected by the Geotide, a commercial seismic vessel operated by Digicon. This cruise included an ODP Leg 146 Site Survey in the Cascadia region.

January 2013

Field data and metadata from the 1996 ORWELL experiment in the Cascadia region, collected by the R/V Sonne SO108 (Flueh, 05/11/96-05/21/96) using the DFS-V 48-channel acquisition system; and the single-channel ODP site survey of the Rockall Plateau and East Flank of Reykjanes Ridge, collected on Ewing EW9302 (Oppo, Manley, 05/27/93-06/21/93) using the DSS240 acquisition system, were added to the Field Data Center.

2012

December 2012

Recently, 2 seismic surveys were added to the Field Data Center. Field data and metadata from the 1999 ODP site survey of the Guatemala Basin and from the area of Alijos Rocks, off Baja California, were collected on Ewing EW9903 (Harding, 03/10/99-04/12/99) using the Syntrak 480 acquisition system and a 6km streamer. The USGS-sponsored Ewing survey off Cape Blanco, Oregon, in the Cascadia region, EW9414 (Clarke, 10/03/94-10/10/94) used the DMS200 acquisition system and a single 4km streamer.

November 2012

Processed seismic lines from MGL1212 (Holbrook, July 2012) Cascadia Open-Access Seismic Transects, and EW9709 in the Equatorial Pacific are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

October 2012

Processed seismic lines from three cruises within the South China Sea region are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean. They are RC2612, RC2613 and RC2614, all part of a 1985 US-China cooperative study.

September 2012

In September, two Langseth seismic data sets were added to the Field Data Center. MGL1212 (Holbrook, 07/12/12-07/23/12) was COAST - Cascadia Open-Access Seismic Transects and is now available for download. Data was collected using the Syntrak 960 acquisition system and an 8km streamer. Expedition MGL1211 (Carbotte, 06/11/12-07/08/12) investigated the Juan de Fuca crust and uppermost mantle and participated in the Cascadia subduction zone ship-to-shore program. The Syntrak 960 acquisition system and an 8km streamer were used to collect 636-channel data.

August 2012

Processed seismic lines collected on RC2613 and RC2614 as part of a US-China cooperative study of the South China Sea, were provided to the Academic Seismic Portal at UTIG.

July 2012

Processed seismic lines collected on RC2612 in the South China Sea, were provided to the Academic Seismic Portal at UTIG.

Processed seismic data from NBP9602, a study of plate geometry north and east of the Ross Sea, and RC2911, Mediterranean projects VALSIS and Alboran, were received from the Academic Seismic Portal at UTIG and are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

June 2012

In June, two Langseth seismic data sets were added to the Field Data Center. MGL1206 (Korenaga, Buck, 03/23/12-04/17/12) was an investigation of the Shatsky Rise using the Syntrak 960 acquisition system and an 6km streamer. MGL1208 (Lynch-Stieglitz, 05/01/12-05/26/12) was a coring cruise to the Line Islands that used the Syntrak 960 acquisition system and a 900m streamer to collect 60-channel, high-resolution data.

May 2012

Recent additions to the Field Data Center include data from the Mariana trench, collected on Langseth MGL1204 (Lizarralde, Miller, Wiens, 02/02/12-02/29/12) using the Syntrak 960 acquisition system and an 8km streamer, and 160-channel data from the southeast Greenland margin, collected on Ewing EW9607 (Holbrook, Dahl-Jensen, 08/24/96-10/07/96) using the DMS2000 acquisition system and a 4km streamer.

Processed lines and metadata from EW9302 (Oppo, Manley 05/27/93-06/21/93), with surveys of the Rockall Bank and the eastern flank of the Reykjanes ridge, were provided to the Academic Seismic Portal at UTIG.

Processed seismic sections for EW9302 and NBP9702 (in the northern Ross Sea and Adare trough) were provided by the Academic Seismic Portal at UTIG and are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

April 2012

Processed lines and metadata from RC2911 (Watts, Mutter, 11/02/88-11/29/88), with surveys of the Alboran Sea and the Gulf of Valencia, were provided to the Academic Seismic Portal at UTIG.

Recent additions to the Field Data Center include data from the Pacific Ocean southeast of Hawaii, Project NoMELT, collected on Langseth MGL1115 (Gaherty, 11/26/11-12/29/11) and field data and metadata from the Chukchi Borderland program in the Arctic Ocean, collected on Langseth MGL1112 (Coakley, 09/06/11-10/10/11). Both field programs used the Syntrak 960 acquisition system and a single 5850m streamer.

Processed lines from V3614, an investigation of the northeastern South China Sea, were provided by the Academic Seismic Portal at UTIG and are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

February 2012

Field data and metadata from the U.S. Extended Continental Shelf progam in the Bering Sea, collected on Langseth MGL1111 (Barth, 08/07/11-09/04/11) with the Syntrak 960 acquisition system using a single 7950m streamer, have been added to the Field Data Center.

Processed seismic sections for HLY0503 in the high Arctic, and V3608 in the South China Sea, were provided by the Academic Seismic Portal at UTIG and are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

Processed lines for V3614 near the Philippines in South China Sea, were provided to the Academic Seismic Portal at UTIG.

Processed lines from RS9401, an investigation of the Macquarie Ridge, were provided by the Academic Seismic Portal at UTIG and are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

Field data and metadata from the Alaska-Aleutian subduction zone, collected on Langseth MGL1110 (Shillington, 06/29/11-08/05/11) with the Syntrak 960 acquisition system using 2 6000m streamers, have been added to the Field Data Center.

Processed lines from RC2006, Philippines Transect and South China Sea, and V3607, from the northern South China Sea, were provided by the Academic Seismic Portal at UTIG and are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

Seismic lines from the Blake Ridge, collected on Conrad RC2810 (Detrick, Mutter, 11/12/87- 12/04/87) with the DSS240 acquisition system and a single 3 km streamer, have been added to the Field Data Center.

October 2011

Field data for additional 2D lines from the Blake Ridge, collected on EW0008 (Holbrook, Lizarralde, Pecher) is now available through the Field Data Center.

Processed data from the Project ROSE (Orozco fracture zone), collected on Conrad RC2204 (Windisch 03/19/79-03/29/79) with the DFS IV and a single 2400 m streamer, was provided to the Academic Seismic Portal at UTIG.

Processed lines for RC2005 east of Japan, and V3613 near the Philippines and the South China Sea, were provided by the Academic Seismic Portal at UTIG and are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

Over 4 terabytes of data from the Costa Rica Seismic Imaging Project (CRISP 3-D), collected on Langseth MGL1106 (Bangs, McIntosh, Silver, von Huene, Ranero, 04/09/11-05/12/11) with the Syntrak 960 and four 6 km streamers, have been added to the Field Data Center.

July 2011

Updated lines for FM0802 provided by the Academic Seismic Portal at UTIG are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

Processed seismic data was provided to the Academic Seismic Portal at UTIG for RC2006 (24-channel work in the Mariana arc and Philippine Sea, 1976, Hayes, Ludwig, and Anderson).

April 2011

The Field Data Center has been updated with four-channel field data from the Central American margin, collected on Roger Revelle DANA01RR and DANA02RR (Lonsdale, Paterno, 09/27/03-10/09/03 and 10/10/03-11/06/03) using the Stratavisor NX system. Processed seismic data was provided to the Academic Seismic Portal at UTIG for RC2005 (2-ship work at the Bonin trench).

Field data from the Blake Ridge offshore eastern U.S., collected on Ewing EW0008 (Holbrook, Lizarralde, Pecher, 09/02/00-10/17/00) with the Syntrak 480 and 4000m streamer have been added to the Field Data Center.

During the first quarter of this year, processed seismic data was provided to the Academic Seismic Portal at UTIG for V3613 (Philippine Sea and the Luzon margin), RC2004 (the Japan-Bonin Trench) as well as additional lines from EW9501 (Caribbean Sea).

Field data from the Philippine Sea and the Luzon margin, collected on Vema V3613 (Hayes, Lewis, 06/28/80-07/29/80) with the DFS-IV and 1200m streamer, as well as data from the Falkland Plateau, collected on Conrad RC2106 (Ludwig, 03/03/78-04/02/78) with the DFS-IV and 2400m streamer, have been added to the Field Data Center. Processed seismic lines from the Gulf of Alaska EW0408, from the Nauru Basin CHARCOT87, the Japan-Bonin Trench RC2004, and VANC02MV, Project Ticoflux II, offshore Costa Rica are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

Recent additions to the Field Data Center include data from the Philippine Sea transect and the South China Sea, collected on Robert D. Conrad RC2006 (Hayes, Anderson, 10/25/76-12/2/76) with the DFS-IV and 2.4 km streamer, as well as new and updated MCS lines and all SCS data in the Costa Rica Rift and Hole 304B areas from Ewing EW9416 (Detrick, Collins, C.Mutter, 10/24/94 - 11-26-94) with the DMS2000 and 4 km streamer. Processed seismic lines from R/V T.Washington in the Nauru Basin, RNDB12WT, and from a 1997 study of the Sea of Marmara SK97 are now available for viewing in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

During the course of the year, processed seismic lines from RC2002, EW0207, EW0114, EW9203 and EW9501 have been provided to the Academic Seismic Portal at UTIG.

Processed seismic lines in the Kane Fracture Zone from Ida Green IG1503 are now included in GeoMapApp and Virtual Ocean.

Processed seismic lines in the Woodlark Basin from Ewing EW9203, data in the Newfoundland Basin from Hudson H92022, as well as several datasets collected aboard Ida Green, mostly in the Gulf of Mexico, have been added: IG0601, IG1201, IG1202, IG1301 , IG1501 (offshore Georgia), IG1502 (Blake Bahama). These can be viewed using GeoMapApp, or as 3-D fence diagrams in Virtual Ocean.

This month's additions to seismic data available for browsing included access to geographically-linked images of processed lines from 5 Fred Moore cruises, including several in the Gulf of Mexico. Cruises added are: FM3001, FM3101, FM3201, FM3502 (Costa Rica 3D), FM3506 (Nankai Trough), GT8907 (Aleutian Trench). This brings to over 80 the number of processed seismic datasets available for browsing. Note that these images can be viewed in GeoMapApp or Virtual Ocean.

Field data in the Woodlark Basin (Goodliffe, Mutter) and north of Papua New Guinea (Silver), collected on EW9910 (08/30/99-09/15/99) have been added to the Data Center. The Silver and Goodliffe programs used a 1200m streamer and collected 48 channels of data. The Mutter program used a 6000m streamer and collected 480 channels of data.

Data in the Ross Sea, collected on NBP0301 (Bartek, Luyendyk, 01/05/03-01/30/03) and NBP0306 (Luyendyk, Bartek, Wilson, 01/05/04-01/17/04) with the Oyo-DAS system and 1 km streamer, have been added to the Field Data Center. Also in the Ross Sea, data were added from NBP9601 (Luyendyk, Bartek, 01/21/96-02/20/96).

Data collected on several Ewing cruises, EW0102, Velocity Structure of Megamullions on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge (Tucholke, 03/10/01-04/05/01) EW0004, Galapagos Plume Ridge Interaction (G-PRIME) (Sinton, Detrick, 04/01/00-05/20/00), both using a 480-channel, 6 km streamer and EW9607, Seismic Investigation of the Greenland Margin (SIGMA) (Holbrook, Dahl-Jensen 08/24/96-10/07/96), 160 channels recorded with the DMS2000 system using a 4 km streamer, have been added to the Field Data Center. Also added was single-channel data from RC2704 Monsoonal Upwelling as Recorded in Arabian Sea Sediments (Prell, Mountain, 05/09/86-06/17/86).
